Owen County is making strides towards getting internet to its residents.
Recently, a Community Digital Advisory Team (CDAT) was formed to help “continue to move the ball down the field on providing internet to rural Owen County,” Owen County Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Executive Director Marce King said.
A survey has been formed and the county desperately needs your input!
“We want to know about your home internet speed, computing devices, and how you use your digital devices,” the survey flyer reads.
“Your responses will be used to shape a digital inclusion plan to improve infrastructure, internet speed, connectivity, access to devices, and digital literacy. By improving our community’s ‘digital capital,’ we can advance economic development and quality of life in our county and the Indiana Uplands region.”
The survey, according to the flyer, takes less than 10 minutes to complete and can be accessed at .
