Tire Business Editor Don Detore and Rubber & Plastics News Editor Bruce Meyer will host the livestream, along with Bruce Davis, special projects reporter of Tire Business and architect of the Global Tire Report, the magazines’ annual statistical analysis of the world’s tire industry.
Joining the conversation will be Bill Wood, founder of Mountaintop Economics & Research Inc. of Greenfield, Mass.; and Laurence Newell, managing director, Americas, for Brand Finance Group.
The livestream will cover a wide range of topics, from the Michelin Group’s rise to the top of the world tire’s sales rankings, to the industry’s profitability and investment priorities, including a discussion of the year-to-date and prospects for 2021 and beyond.
Mr. Wood, a Harvard-trained economist, recently examined the tire industry’s prospects in a presentation at the 2020 International Tire Exhibition & Conference (ITEC), which was held virtually this year.
