In the last interview, Brock Pierce, Chairman of the Bitcoin Foundation and IPSE Strategic Advisor, fully expressed his high recognition of the investment value of IPSE and its token POST. Against the background of the downward trend of global economy, IPSE is still growing against the trend and is performs very well. In addition, Brock also stated that IPSE is one of the most important driving forces in the historical transformation of the global Internet from Web2.0 to Web3.0, and has huge potential.

If the hegemony of Web 2.0 era is data hegemony dominated by search engine giants, then the mainstream of the Web 3.0 era is data authenticity. As a disruptive innovation in the distributed and decentralized industry, IPSE builds a distributed global value node ecology, starting from data industry. In this interview, from the perspective of the development of human society as a whole and from a philosophical point of view, Brock Pierce expressed his confidence and expectations that IPSE will play an important role in industrial transformation and the development of the society.

Brock was asked his opinion on the role will IPFS and IPSE play in the transition from Web 2.0 to Web 3.0. He said:

“Well, as we move from calling it Web 2.0 or the Internet 3.0, why do we want distributed systems, right? They are ultimately more durable. They are resilient. You know, we have a system that doesn’t fail. We are living in a world right now that is “History”-his story, is the story that is written by the victors. We’ve grown up on the world of read only. I believe in the future, that is a story that includes the writing, the continuing writing, not only by one, but the many; a story that is co-create, co-written by each everyone of us; that is hopefully more Her story too. The resilience of this kind of information is everything. It will ultimately bring truth to all of reality, where when we read things, it will be our collective co-truth, not just the truth of the one or the few, but the truth of the many.”

Users experience have been optimized in Web2.0 era, causing a huge increase in content on the Internet. However, as a content producer who makes a huge contribution to production, it is difficult for them to get the deserving value. In the Web 3.0 era based on blockchain technology, IPFS network protocols and IPSE distributed applications, value contribution will be returned and value decentralization will be realized. In a nutshell, files and information are stored locally in the Web 1.0 era and stored on centralized servers in the Web 2.0 era. In the Web 3.0 era, IPSE will enable distributed storage of information. As Brock said, in the web 3.0 era, distributed storage and search technologies such as IPSE have provided more opportunities for every single person to write history. Everyone has more opportunities to participate in writing history than just reading. History will no longer belong only to the victors, and truth will be the truth of many people.

When it comes to the advantages and future opportunities of IPSE, Brock hold the view that:

“The team is everything, again, team work makes the collective dream work, and you have the potential to be part of this team. That’s the beauty of blockchain-base projects. There is an invitation for each every one of us to get involved we so choose. But determines winners around big ideas is ultimately people, and so, this team has been validated by people that I believe have good judgement around picking people. And generally speaking, Asia is where it’s add. I think the next search engine is gonna be determined by things that basically came post-Baidu, and out of Singapore and the places of this nature itself. My gut tells me that this is the place to bet.”

As Brock said, the openness and scalability of IPSE project are very high. All users who make positive contributions to the IPSE project can be IPSE participants and be part of this team. Participants make contribution by contributing content to the IPFS network, tagging semantics in the IPSE search system, sharing storage space, etc., and get a fair return. The entire ecology is based on a fair, open, and credible consensus. It will definitely attract more and more talents to join IPSE, and jointly promote the long-term development of the project.

Brock was also asked his view on what IPSE will do in 2020. Brock stated:

“Well, I mean, we are living in the visionary 20s. The 2020 is a year of vision clarity. And in this sorry 20s, I think that we, the people, are going to see more clearly than ever before. So I encourage all of us, whether it’ll be IPSE or something else, I pray that we create the distributed world of search, a world in which through this visionary 20s, humanity meaning each one of us may see more clearly.”

Nowadays, information technology has stepped to the era of big data and cloud computing. Search engines, as the entrance to network and the largest Internet application tools, will also change. As a distributed search engine, IPSE creatively solves problems such as system reliability, limited systemic structure computing power, and scalability, which represents the future development of search engines.

Looking back on the history of the HTTP protocol’s dominance of global Internet search and storage for the recent two or three decades, IPSE distributed search will lead the future of global search for at least twenty years. As the entrance to a new generation of digital economic value Internet, IPSE distributed search will greatly empower distributed commerce, blockchain economy, and digital economy, and provide growth opportunities for global economic development, which will have a profound impact.
