CES 2020 — the world’s largest consumer technology trade show — will set the tone not only for the year ahead, but for the new decade. CES is still known to many by its original name, the Consumer Electronics Show.

The annual event, running Jan. 7-10 in Las Vegas, is forecast to attract more than 170,000 attendees and over 4,500 exhibiting companies. CES also has two days of preshow events for journalists and analysts.
Keynote speakers at CES 2020 include Delta Air Lines (DAL) CEO Ed Bastian, Daimler Chairman Ola Kallenius, and Quibi CEO Meg Whitman and Chairman Jeffrey Katzenberg.
Technologies likely to make headlines at CES 2020 include 5G wireless, 8K televisions, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, self-driving cars, streaming video services, robotics and smart home gadgets.
Exhibitors at the show will range from startups to top-name consumer electronics vendors LG, Samsung and Sony (SNE). Other prominent exhibitors include tech giants Microsoft (MSFT), Amazon.com (AMZN) and Alphabet‘s (GOOGL) Google.
The event isn’t open to the general public. It is for buyers and sellers in the consumer technology industry, as well as media, analysts and government officials.
