Casper are a bedding brand that sell a variety of sleep products, including bedsheets, mattresses, pillows, and bed frames.

This article looks at the different types of bedsheets that Casper offer and the brand’s reputation. The article also discusses different sheet materials, sleep health, and when to see a doctor about sleep problems.

Casper have been trading since 2014. They sell sleep-related products online and in physical stores. Casper products include bedding, mattresses, pillows, and bed frames. They sell their products to customers in the United States and Canada.

Casper frequently donate sleep-related products to charity. They also recycle old sheets, pillows, and bedding.

The Better Business Bureau list Casper as having an average rating of 2.58 out of 5 stars, noting that they have closed 91 complaints in the last 12 months. Many of the complaints appear to be regarding delivery issues and customer service, while the positive reviews frequently mention the quality of Casper’s products.

A person can consider various factors when looking to purchase bedsheets. These may include:

  • material
  • cost
  • size
  • thread count
  • environmental impact
  • return policies and sleep trials
  • warranties
  • durability
  • breathability

Each person will have unique needs and preferences. It is worth considering individual sleeping style and any sleep-related issues when choosing the best sheets. For example, someone who tends to get hot during sleep may benefit from breathable, cooling sheets.

Please note that the writer of this article has not tried these products. All information is purely research-based.

Casper sheets come in two different styles. Both products come with a 30-night risk-free trial, free shipping and returns, and a 1-year limited warranty.

Casper Percale Sheets

These sheets are made from 100% organic cotton. Casper claim that the percale weave is durable and airy, helping users stay cool during sleep.

The cotton has received Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certification, meaning that there are no added chemicals.

The percale sheets are available in six different sizes, and customers can choose from six colors.

The Casper Percale sheets are available to purchase online.

Casper Sateen Sheets

Casper’s Sateen sheets are made from 100% organic cotton from Portugal. The company claim that the organic cotton material makes the sheets feel smooth and lustrous.

The cotton is OEKO-TEX-certified, providing assurance that it is free from harmful substances. As a result, Casper state that the sheets are safe for babies and children.

A customer can purchase the Sateen sheets in six different sizes. Casper also offer a choice of eight colors.

The Casper Sateen sheets are available to purchase online.

Casper offer a variety of other sleep-related products. These include:

People can also purchase bundles, which may be more cost effective for those needing multiple sleep-related products. Gift bundles are available for purchase online.

Both of the bedsheets on offer from Casper are 100% organic cotton, so the brand may not be suitable for everyone. Some people may prefer different fabrics, and those with allergies may need to be more careful selecting a material. A few alternatives to cotton sheets are:

  • Linen: Linen sheets are usually hypoallergenic, have natural temperature regulation qualities, and are environmentally friendly. Learn more about linen sheets here.
  • Polyester: These sheets tend to be more durable and cheaper than other options, as polyester is a synthetic material. However, anecdotal evidence suggests that people consider them to be less comfortable and less breathable.
  • Silk: Silk sheets are very delicate and generally more expensive. However, they are usually comfortable and may be a good option for those who frequently overheat during sleep. Learn more about silk sheets here.
  • Bamboo: Bamboo sheets are not very eco-friendly, but they have good breathability and are soft and comfortable. Learn more about bamboo sheets here.
  • Tencel: Tencel is made from the wood pulp of the Eucalyptus tree, so it is environmentally friendly. It feels soft and durable.
  • Flannel: Flannel is similar to cotton but thicker and warmer, meaning that it would likely not be suitable for people who get hot during sleep. Other people may like this material because it is durable and soft.

Research shows the importance of good quality sleep for a person’s health.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend that adults of different ages get the following amount of sleep:

  • 18–60 years: 7 or more hours a night
  • 61–64 years: 7–9 hours a night
  • 65 and over: 7–8 hours a night

The authors of a 2016 study concluded that temperature affects a person’s quality of sleep. Therefore, people who get hot sleeping may wish to purchase sheets that have a good airflow mechanism to regulate body temperature for optimal sleep quality.

However, a 2018 study found that there was no relation between types of bedding and insomnia.

The National Sleep Foundation (NSF) recommend taking the following steps to improve sleep quality:

  • Having a structured routine: By keeping bedtimes and wake times as consistent as possible, even at the weekends, people can establish a bedtime routine. A person should also avoid napping.
  • Spending time in natural light: Daylight helps a person feel more alert during the day.
  • Limiting the use of electronics before bed: The NSF suggest refraining from using electronics an hour before going to bed.
  • Exercising regularly: Exercising during waking hours helps a person sleep later on, reducing stress and improving mood.
  • Prioritize sleep: People should ensure that they set themselves enough time to sleep and carry out their regular bedtime routine.

A person should consult a doctor if they regularly experience sleep problems that interfere with daily activities. A person may have a sleep problem if they:

  • have difficulty falling asleep
  • lie awake for long periods at night
  • wake up during the night numerous times
  • wake up very early and cannot get back to sleep
  • have a low mood or are irritable
  • find it difficult to concentrate
  • feel tired when waking up

A person should also speak with their doctor if they have ongoing neck pain or stiffness after sleeping that does not resolve with the use of over-the-counter pain relievers.

Casper offer various sleep-related products, including two different types of bedsheets.

A person should consider their personal preference regarding bedsheet material. Both Casper sheets are made from 100% cotton, so customers who prefer other materials may wish to consider bedsheets from different brands.
