AUBURN, Alabama — It wasn’t that the Tigers lost Saturday to a top-5 team; it was how they did it. Auburn blew an early fourth-quarter lead and completely crumbled over the game’s final 15 minutes, dropping its home finale 30-21 to No. 5 Texas A&M. Auburn did a lot of things well but was ultimately outplayed in every area of the game — especially against the Aggies’ offense, which posted the best offensive performance against the Tigers all year and seemingly couldn’t be stopped.
Our team of football reporters — Phillip Marshall, Jason Caldwell, Mark Murphy and Nathan King — took another look at Auburn’s loss to the Tide with some superlatives and final thoughts from the game in the Auburn Undercover Exit Survey.
Dive in for our plays of the game, helmet stickers and exiting analysis on where Auburn impressed, digressed, improved or took some steps back — and how this result affects our opinions of Auburn’s 2020 season as a whole.
